Patricia Rowe, 78, of Woodstock, passed away December 21, 2023 at her home with her loving family by her side.
She was born on April 20, 1945 in Woodstock, the daughter of Lawrence and Bessie (Aavang) Worm. She married John Rowe Jr. on November 18, 1983.
Patricia was a long time resident of McHenry County. She was the 4-H leader of the Greenwood Gremlins for many years. She grew up on her family farm, milking cows, baling hay and enjoyed barrel racing her horses. She enjoyed raising thoroughbred and riding them on her country property. She enjoyed the peace and tranquility of being on her farm. The family would like to thank the staff at Transitions Hospice for the love and care they provided for Patricia.
Patricia is survived by her children, Ruth (Steve) Kormanak and Larry Ray; grandchildren, Amber (Jim) Schwartz, Andrew (Amanda) Huff and Bessie (Ted) Bennefield; great-grandchildren, Ryder, Wyatt, Chloe and Remington; sisters, Peggy Miotto and Linda Sporleder.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John and sister Sally Worm.
Memorial visitation will be Friday, January 5, 2024 from 1:00pm until 4:00pm at Schneider Leucht Merwin Cooney funeral home 1211 N. Seminary Ave Woodstock IL 60098. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Transition Care 3010 Forest View Rd Rockford, IL 61109 or the Hooved Animal Humane Society
