Roxana was the daughter of Cornelius and Ann Gillmore. She was first married to James G. Cole, and around 1914 became was the second wife of John Wilbert (J.W.) Myers of Ashland, Ohio.

The New Smyrna (Florida) News of April 24 1914 announced the marriage license of J,W. Myers of Ashland, Ohio to Roxana G. Cole of Osteen,(Volusia Co., Florida).

J.W. Myers died Nov. 17, 1925 in Daytona Beach, Florida. The 1930 U.S. Census lists Roxana G. Myers as the widowed head of household in a home valued at $30,000 at 944 S. Peninsula Drive in Daytona Beach, age 64, living with her widowed sister, May E. Carpenter.
