Charles Thomas was the son of John W. Herridge and Louise Theresa Schmidt Herridge, was born near Sparland, Ill. on November 10, 1893.
During his early age he attended church services regularly at the Christian Churchs.
In 1903 he moved from Illinois with his family to near Wakita, Oklahoma, later moving to Kansas where he lived until 1915, moving then with his parents to Bluff City where he has since made his home.
Charles had five brothers ~ James Walter "Jim", Gertrude "Gertie" (Gerberding), Edward, Charles, John, George, Alice (Robnett), Benjamin, Helen (Wharton), Bernice (Markellie), Donald (Donald died at six and one half years), Richard "Dick".
Charles passed away at the Galloway Hospital on August 14, 1958 at the age of 64 years, 8 months and 4 days.
