Funeral services for Mrs. Melissa Nora Pickett, age 92, of Fayetteville conducted at Higgins Funeral Home with Rev. Dwight Gardner officiating. Burial will following Lincoln Cemetery beside her husband Jessie E Pickett. Mrs. Pickett died Wednesday night in Huntsville Hospital.
She was a native of Lincoln County and the daughter of the late Douglas and Betty Henderson Fuller.
She was a homemaker and member of the Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include two children, Jimmy Howell of Fayetteville and Doris May of Fayetteville, nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren, and a special niece and nephew Larry and Etta Coft.
She was preceded in death by two sons Douglas and James Howell.
