Paul and Beulah Blankenship Family
Paul Blankenship was born 19 November 1906, the son of Thomas Alexander Blankenship and Minerva FLorence Wooldridge, who had come to Belle Plaine, Sumner, Kansas about 1902 from Russell County, Kentucky area near Jamestown. Beulah was born 26 August 1909, Kingman County, Kansas. Paul was a 1924 graduate of Belle Plaine High School. Beulah graduated from Larned High School in 1926.
They were married at her parents home in Wichita, Sedgwick, Kansas on 20 November 1932, and farmed in the Belle Plaine area until Paul's death in January of 1976. For many years, Paul worked for Hittle Service of Winfield, delivering propane in the Belle Plaine and Udall communities.
They had two living children. (Two died infants).
Beulah now resides at Winfield Rest Haven, Winfield, Kansas. Written in 1984. Submitted by Beulah Blankenship.
