Mrs. George Nolop was born February 13, 1871 at Shamrock, daughter of Charles and Margaret Kelley. She was united in marriage to George H. Nolop, June 30, 1892. To this union were born three sons, Myron, Willard and Osborne. She is survived by her beloved husband and three sons, two brothers, one sister and three grandchildren. She has been preseded in death by five brothers and four sisters. She spent most of her life on the farm in the town of Curran. Her home was a constant, never tiring hospitality, where you were welcome any hour of the day, host of the Nolop hospitality. She was a grand person in every walk of life, one whose personality portrayed her goodness. Recently in 1939 they moved to Black River Falls to live near their son Myron. They came to enjoy once more the place they used to live in their younger days. A week ago she was suddenly taken ill and Monday, February 5, 1940 at 5:30 a.m. she passed away. All her sons and her husband were with her to the end. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at the home here in the city, ad also at the Presbyterian Church at Hixton. Burial will be at the Sechlerville cemetery.
