ELKTON - Jessie Rebecca Cook, 86, of Route 3, Elkton died Monday at Rockingham Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Cook was born May 12, 1902, in Rockingham County and was a daughter of the late Edward and Emily Smith Hensley [sic].
Her husband, Welty Cook, died May 14, 1986.
Surviving are a daughter, Margaret Diehl of Elkton; a son, Loring Cook of Elkton; six grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
A funeral will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday at Evangelical United Methodist Church by the Rev. Rudy Smith. Burial will be in the Hensley family cemetery.
