Margaret Cook Diehl, 57, of Route 3, Elkton, died Jan. 30, 1994, at her home. She had been ill for the past two years.

Mrs. Diehl was born May 14, 1936, in Elkton and was the daughter of the late Welty Garland and Jessie R. Hensley Cook.

She was a member of the Elkton Evangelical United Methodist Church and had served as treasurer for the Companion Sunday School Class.

On July 4, 1964, she married Alvin Burton Diehl, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Lawrence Burton Diehl and Keith Alan Diehl, both of Elkton; a brother, Loring R. Cook of Elkton; and two grandchildren.

The Rev. Bob Wolff will conduct the funeral at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Elkton Evangelical United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Elk Run Cemetery in Elkton.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the Kyger & Trobaugh Funeral Home in Elkton, where the family will receive friends 7-8 p.m. Tuesday.
