Cause of Death: Lobar Pneumonia

Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie Ahlstrom Braithwaite, 72, were conducted by Bishop B. C. Braithwaite in the Manti Center Ward Tuesday afternoon.

Mrs. Braithwaite died at her home at 6:40 a.m. Saturday of pneumonia after ailing for a few weeks.

Mrs. Braithwaite was born at Ephraim, December 20, 1878, a daughter of Peter and Mary V. Bunderson Ahlstrom. She moved to Manti when a child and had lived there since. She was married to George Riley Braithwaite on December 23, 1903, in the Manti LDS Temple. He died December 22, 1916.

Mrs. Braithwaite had served as a Relief Society visiting teacher from the time of the division of the wards up unitl recent years. Active in other church work, she served as principal of Religion Classes in the Center Ward for a number of years. She always made care of her home and the welfare of her family a primary interest.

She is survived by two daughters and a son, Mrs. L. Glen Anderson (Bernice) and Elliott R. Braithwaite, Manti and Mrs. Orville Evershed (Laura), Salt Lake City; nine grandchildren, and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. L. T. Buchanan and Rufus Ahllstrom, Manti, Mrs. A. L. Buchanan, Centerfield; Mrs. Malinda Luke, McKinnon, Wyoming; V. P. Ahlstrom, Salt Lake City, and Frank Ahlstrom, Provo.
