Funeral services were conducted at the Central Assembly of God Church with burial following in the Masonic Cemetery. The Rev. John E. Hutson officiated.
Survivors included the widow, Lacy McCoy; a daughter, Mrs. Pat Chew of Dona Ana; brothers: William G. McCoy, Henderson, TX; Lewis W. McCoy, Smithville, OK; Raymond W. McCoy, Hatfield, AR; two sisters, Ida Simmons of Monteca, CA and Annabelle Combs, Henderson, TX; 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Mack married Lacy Etta Lee Thornburgh at Hatfield, AR, on June 28 1925. They lived in Hatfield for a short time, owning three saw mills. From here he moved to Silver City, NM, going into the auto and truck repair business. In 1969 he sold these businesses and bought the Dodge dealership with his son, Albert. After several heart attacks he moved to Las Cruces, NM, where he bought a farm which he worked as long as his health permitted.
