Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, in Woods Funeral Chapel, Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery of Fulbright. visitation will be from 7-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
She was born December 12, 1922 in Centerpoint to Claude and Necia Gertrude Smith Morgan, She married Willie Melvin Smith August 6, 1939, She was retired from Campbell Soup and was a Baptist.
Surviving are her husband, her children, Michael Smith and wife Carol of Paris, Deborah Bringman of Dallas, and David Smith and wife Terri of Paris; a sister Lizzie Lee Legate of Bogata; a brother ,D.M. Morgan of Bisbee, Ariz,; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by four brothers, Shorty Morgan,Leonard Morgan, C.C.Morgan and Paul Morgan, a sister Mrs. Claudie Reynolds.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Smith, Cameron Smith, Zac Smith,Galen Legate, Charles Legate and Paul Garrett.
