A native of Whigham, and was a son to the late Yank and Lonnie M. Addison.
He attended Grady County public schools and a member of St. Stephens Missionary Baptist Church in Whigham.
He was married to Mamie Lou Gurley on May 18, 1956.
He was a pickle company foreman.
