Helen Whytock McKell was the first wife of Robert McKell. She was the mother of Robert Moncur (1839). Her first husband, Mr. Moncur, died in Scotland in 1842 or 1844. She is the daughter of John and Katherine Lovett Whytock.
Helen's grave is also listed in the Pioneer Heritage Cemetery in Spanish Fork. Written in the book, "The History and Posterity of Robert and Elizabeth Boyack McKell (McKail)" by Charles Robert McKell in 1954 on page 27: "Helen Whytock Moncur McKell was buried in the old cemetery on the brow of the benchland near the Vincent farm in the Riverbottoms south and east of Spanish Fork. That burial ground was, however, abandoned and in recent years the broken headstone to her grave was brought to the Robert McKell family plot in the present Spanish Fork City Cemetery."
