Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Central United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jeff Taylor, minister, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery by Hass Funeral Home.
Mr. Fike was born in Brookside, W.Va., and raised on a farm in Preston County, W.Va. He attended schools in Delaware and high school in Aurora. He attended college at Potomac State and West Virginia Law School.
After law school, Mr. Fike moved to Stratford where he joined R.E. Stalcup in his law firm. He later opened his own practice. In 1982, he was honored for practicing 50 years of law.
Mr. Fike was active in the Dalhart community and had served as district attorney for the 69th District, was Hartley County attorney and attorney for the Coon Trust for more than 23 years. He was a charter member of the Dalhart Country Club and past boss lion for the Dalhart Lions Club.
He married Marguerite King in 1933. She preceded him in death in 1993.
Survivors include three daughters, Madeline Combs of Garland, Marian Matthews of Roswell, N.M., and Margaret Enns of Dalhart; a son, Steven Fike of Amarillo; 10 grandchildren; and a greatgranddaughter.
The family suggests memorials be to Senior Citizens Center or the DallamHartley Counties Historical Society.
