Lyla Sonnafrank Croushorn, wife of Roscoe C. Croushorn, mother of George, Kenneth, Ralph, Bertram, Paul and Margaret Croushorn Webb. I'm not sure but think she was born in Penn. and might have been orphaned or for some reason sent to live with others. At any rate she lived near Nokesville and met Roscoe. Member Nokesville Church of the Brethren where her funeral service was held. Both she and Roscoe had resided at a nursing home in Manassas for several years before their deaths and died just weeks apart in the winter of 1993. He was a farmer, and they were my maternal aunt and uncle (brother of my mother). At the time of her death,Aunt Lyla was survived also by 19 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren and 2 sisters. Aunt Lyla enjoyed reading, church activities, and discussions, among other things.
added 1-19: Lyla's mother died when Lyla was five years old, though Lyla was living with her father and step-mother in the 1920 census.
