Mrs. Howard Dies after Brief Illiness.
Mrs. Florence Howard, 86, died at 12:20 a.m. today at St. Francis Hospital after an illness of three weeks.
Mrs. Howard, who was a member of the Maryville Methodist Church, was born Sept. 29, 1877, the daughter of Thomas and Mary Woodford Bainum. Henry L. Howard preceded his wife in death Dec. 10, 1919.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Wayne Frederickson, Burlington Jct., Miss Bernice Howard, East Moline, Ill., and Mrs. Russell Kaufman, Anaheim, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Pearl Talkington, Cheyenne, Wyo.; 10 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Price Funeral Home by the Rev. F. Hauser Winter. Burial will be in Miriam Cemetery, Maryville.
