Mrs. Laura Dishman
Dies at Stony Point
Stony Point, June 26. - Funeral service for Mrs. Laura Dishman was held from Stony Point Baptist church Thursday afternoon at 4 o'clock. The service was in charge of her pastor, Rev. C. C. Holland, assisted by Rev. J. B. Pearson and Rev. T. J. Houck.
Pallbearers were C. L. Parker, Guss Pharr, J. S. Keever, Robert Alexander, Glover Lentz and Willie Ingram.
Mrs. Dishman had been seriously sick for some time but had been improving when she was taken suddenly worse Wednesday and died Wednesday night.
She was 64 years of age. Her husband, Mr. John Dishman, died several years ago. She is survived by three sons and three daughters, Messrs. R. A. Dishman, John Dishman and Jule Dishman, Mrs. W. T. Alexander, Mrs. W. C. Millholland, of Stony Point, and Mrs. Roy Coley, of Statesville.
