"Mrs. Elizabeth Perrine, mother of Mrs. W. G. Barker of Mercer, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. A. Boyd at Sandy Lake on the 8th inst., after an extended illness from dropsy, aged about 79 years. She was a native of Nottingham, England, coming to this country when 13 years of age, her maiden name being Elizabeth Frost. She was a member of the M.E. Church and is survived by one son and four daughters."

on March 25, 1858, she married Daniel Perrine. They had four daughters and son: Harriet Jane (H. Claude Zeigler), Charlotte Hannah (Winfield Scott Watson), Elizabeth Anna (William A. Boyd), Margaret Evelyn (William G. Barker) and Charles William (Hester Jones Glenn).
