1. Joseph K. Errickson was born on 5 Jun 1865 in New Jersey, USA.1 He died on 30 Oct 1904 at the age of 39 in Long Branch, Monmouth Co., New Jersey.2

Joseph Errickson,
Joseph Errickson of Matawan, an engineer on the Freehold and New York railway, died at the Long Branch hospital Monday morning, Mr. Errickson was forty years old and had been employed on the railroad ever since be was a young man. He ran his engine and train to Freehold on Saturday morning, and while there he was attacked with a congestive chill. He was unable to make the return trip on his train. Brain fever developed and he was taken to the Long Branch hospital, where he died as above stated, Mr. Errickson leaves a widow and two children. The widow was Miss Ollie Latham. Mr.Errickson leaves also four brothers and a sister. Three of the brothers are locomotive engineers and they are John and Jefferson Errickson of Jersey City and James Errickson of Red Bank. The other brother is Emery Errickson of Jersey City, The sister is Miss Mell Errickson of Farmingdale, Mr. Erriekson belonged to the Masons, Red Men and Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers. The funeral was held at his late residence this afternoon and the body was buried at Barnegat.

He was buried in Barnegat Memorial Cemetery, Barnegat, Ocean County, NJ.3
