He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Dollie Chism; daughters Mrs. Mack Johnston, Mrs. Ida L. Shults, Mrs Chester Troutman; sons; Garland Chism, Prock Chism, William Chism, John Richard Chism, Elmer Chism; 24 grandchildren,6 great-grandchildren; a sister Mrs Jessie Jackson; two brothers Mr. Charlie Chism and Mr. Leo Chism.
Funeral services were held Dec. 21, at 10:00 a.m. at Sturgeon Funeral Home conducted by Father Caldwell of St Theresa. Burial was in Parr Cemetery. Pallbearers were Richard Lawrence Crawford, Wayne Johnston, Bill Troutman, Joe Troutman, Albert Chism, and Stevie Chism. (Meade Co. Messenger)
