MRS. NELLIE HARDEN
Mrs. Nellie HARDEN, 75, former Topekn, died May 11 at the Lawrence Convalescent Home. She was born AUgust 5, 1881, at Ozawakie and was an employee of the Topeka High School cafeteria until she retired on a pension in 1945. She then moved to Lawrence.
She is survived by four sons, Fay HARDEN of Ozawkie, Len HARDEN of Pampa, Willis HARDEN of Valley Falls, and Wade HARDEN of Topeka; two daughters, Mrs. Fonda SHARP, Marietta, Ga., and Mrs. Ola ROGERS, Lawrence; a brother, Sherman BRUNTON, Bakersfield, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Mattie KEARNS, Compton, Calif.; 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Ozawakie Evangelical-United Brethren Church, with burial in Ozawkie Cemetery.
