Mrs. Amick, 82, Dies at Hospital

Mrs. Lula Amick, wife of Clarence B. Amick of 2741 Indiana avenue, died at 12:10 p.m. Monday at Bartholomew county hospital, She was 82 years old.

A native of Reddington, she was born Sept. 22, 1882 to William and Susan Shanks Adams. She was married in 1914 to Frank E. Holland who died in 1943, and she and Mr. Amick were married in 1946.

Mrs. Amick was a member of Reddington Christian church, the Rebekah lodge at Columbus and the Rockcreek Methodist Ladies Aid society.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Hathaway funeral home by the Rev. H. Porter Wynn. Burial will be at Garland Brook cemetery. Persons may call at the funeral home.

Surviving with the husband are a step-son, George Amick of Norfolk, Va.; four nephews and eight nieces, including two living in Columbus, Mrs. Robert Heitz and Miss Mildred Adams. Two brothers, John and Clarence Adams and a sister, Mrs. Mary Ann Heagle, preceded her in death.
