NEWMAN - Donnie E. Addis, 69, of Newman, formerly of Newton, died at 6:20 p.m. Monday (Aug. 13, 2007) at Rest Haven in Newton.
The funeral will be at noon Thursday at the Blake-Wright Funeral Home in Dieterich with Chuck and Judy Liffick officiating. Burial will be in the Wheeler Cemetery with military rites. Visitation will be two hours before the service.
He was born Sept. 2, 1937, in Robinson, son of George and Nellie Holmes Addis.
Survivors include a son, Tony Addis of Charleston; brothers Dean Addis of Newton and Gordon Ramey of Loves Park; sisters Imogene Mahaffey of Wheeler and Lela Unglesbee of Newton; and one grandchild.
Mr. Addis had retired from ADM Grain Elevator in Newman, where he had worked for 25 years. He was an Army veteran, member of the Dieterich American Legion and a former Newman
