"Elnora E Kalis Dies at Age 71
Mrs. Elnora E (Mauger) Kalis, 71, widow of Howard E Kalis Sr., 81/2 W 4th St., died Monday morning at Medical Center North, where she was a patient one week. She was ill three months.
Born in Pottstown, she was a daughter of the late Lyman and Emma (Holloway) Mauger.
Mrs. Kalis was a member of Salvation Army Citadel and its auxiliary, the Golden Age Club and the Home League of the Salvation Army.
Surviving are two sons, Howard E Kalis Jr., 17 W 10th St., and Robert H Kalis, 559 Virginia Ave.
Also, two daughters, Ruth, wife of Harvey W Endy, 549 Glascow St., Stowe, and Gloria, wife of Ralph E Husband, Utica, Mich.
And two brothers, John K. Mauger, 357 Laurel St., and Charles I Mauger, Douglassville RD2; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday from Skean Funeral Home, 404 High St. Officiating will be Major Clarence C Graham of the Salvation Army Citadel.
Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
A viewing will be 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home."
