Charles I. Mauger, 79, husband of Mary J (Obermyer) Mauger, Douglassville RD 2, died Sunday in Reading Hospital where he was admitted Sunday morning.
Born in Pottstown, he was a son of the late Lyman and Emma (Holloway) Mauger.
He had been employed by the William E. Boalton Oil Co., Pottstown, retiring in 1972.
Surviving with his widow are one daughter, Carole K., wife of Ronald B Long, Douglassville RD1; and two grandsons.
The funeral will be private from the Dengler Funeral Home, Main and Spruce streets, Birdsboro.
Officiating will be the Rev. Verne E. Snyder, pastor emeritus of Robeson Lutheran Church, Plowville.
Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery, Birdsboro."
