Christopher is a Revolutionary War veteran. His father was also a Revolutionay War patriot. Christopher, Jr. was the son of Christopher Embich, Sr. & Maria Elizabeth Kriter (or Kuder).

Christopher, Jr. married Anna Maria Ebrecht (or Albrecht or Albright) on 20 Jan 1779 in Stouchsburg, Berks Co., PA.

Christopher was a carpenter. Around 1800 they moved to Hagerstown, MD and then on to Lancaster, Fairfield Co., OH about 1817.

Christopher & Anna Maria had nine children: Elisabeth, two infant sons named Christopher, Jacob, Catharine Barbara, Philip, Anna Maria, Magdalena and Johan Frederich.

After Christopher's death in Lancaster, Anna Maria moved to Logan, Hocking Co., OH with her son Jacob & his family.

Christopher was originally buried at the Old Lutheran Cemetery in Lancaster and later moved to Forest Rose Cemetery.
