Rosary will be held Sunday evening for Mrs Nora C Rodriguez, 20, who died Feb 6 in City of Hope hospital following a lengthy illness. A native of New Mexico, she had lived 15 years here and in California . She resided at 1340 West Buena Vista, Barstow. Attending local schools, she was formerly employed at California Interstate Telephone Company.
Survivors are the husband, Raymond Rodrigues, and one daughter, Christina, both of the Barstow home; her parents, Mr and Mrs Adenago Chavez of Barstow, brothers, Teofilio, Lucero and Henry Chavez, all of Barstow.
Rosary will be recited for her Sunday evening at 8 pm in O'Donnell's Funeral home chapel. Requiem mass will be celebrated for her Monday at 9 am in St Joseph's Catholic Church Barstow, with the Rev Patrick Fox officiating.
Burial will be held in Mt View Cemetery, Barstow.

Nora (Chávez) Rodriguez (Born 1948-deceased) Nora (daughter of Adenago and Digusma Chávez) was born in Las Cruces, New Mexico on February 9, 1948. She moved with her family to Barstow California when she was around 5 years old. She was raised in Barstow California and graduated from Barstow High School in 1966. She married Ray Rodriguez, settled in Barstow and had a daughter (Christina). Nora passed away on February 6, 1969 at the City of Hope Hospital in Duarte California after a long illness. Her daughter Christina passed away years later at still a young age.
