William H. "Bill" Millspaugh, 57, 105 Hawthorne Ave., Olney died at 12:50 a.m. today at Richland Memorial Hospital. For 30 years he was a coach at East Richland High School and also served as athletic director.

Funeral services at Summers Funeral Home with Rev. David McNabb and Donald Cooper, a nephew of the deceased, officiating. Burial with military rites in Crest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Millspaugh was born Oct. 23, 1922 in St. Francisville in Lawrence County, the son of Raymond and Flo Hill Millspaugh. He married Roma Phillips Aug. 8, 1941.

He was a member and an elder of the First Presbyterian Church, Olney, was second lieutenant in the U.S. Marines during World War II and was a member of the Olney American Legion, Elks Lodge and the Richland Country Club.

Surviving are his wife, Roma; sons, Ronald of Los Angeles, and James of Flint, Mich.; a daughter, Mrs. Danny (Marilyn) Grove, Olney; a sister, Janis Tollner, Palacios, Tex.; and five grandchildren.
