EVELYN E. RHODES, 82, of Conway, Ark., formerly of Bartlett, retired nurse, died of heart failure Wednesday at Conway Regional Medical Center. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Family Funeral Care Stage Road Chapel with burial in Bethuel Cemetery in Millington. She was a member of Bartlett United Methodist Church, Fidelity Sunday school class, Quota Club and Avion Travel Club, and was a graduate of Gartly Ramsey School of Nursing. Mrs. Rhodes, the widow of William C. Rhodes, leaves a daughter, Mariam R. Smith of Chattanooga; a son, Bill Rhodes of Conway; a sister, Nancy Spencer of Rosemark, and four grandchildren. The family requests that memorials be sent to Bartlett United Methodist Church or Young Life of Conway.
