predeceased by her husband, Sherwood Milton Harris; her parents, William
Layfette Powell and Annie Culpepper Powell; and brother, William (Bill) Powell.
Survivors include daughter, Shelagh H. Norrison of Montgomery; sons, Robert S.
Harris (Sylvia) of Ramer, William D. Harris of Tuscaloosa, and Cecil A. Harris
of Tuscaloosa; ten grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren. Mrs. Harris was a
member of Highland Avenue Baptist Church. She retired from St. Margaret Hospital
after 15 years. She continued in the nursing field by providing private duty
nursing care in homes and hospitals for many years. The
family wishes to thank the staff of Davita Phenix Dialysis Clinic and Dr. Donald
Marshall for the years of care they provided.
