♥ ♥ ~ My Grand Aunt Grace ~ ♥ ♥

Grace was the second of twelve children. She married Thomas M. Thomas in 1898. Though the couple had no children of their own, they raised a family. After Grace's sister, Effie Miers, died in 1912, Grace and Tom raised her two sons as their own. They legally adopted the youngest child, Noel Miers Thomas.

Grace's sister, Dorothy Richards, died in 1917. In those days before day care, George Richards wasn't able to work and care for two toddlers without his wife. He and his children moved in with Grace and Tom so Grace could care for his children. After Tom died, Grace married George.

Cause of Death: Peritonitis
