Funeral services for Tommie Hargett Carver, 79, of Chandler were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the First Baptist church of Chandler with Rev. Louie Barron officiating. Burial followed in the Rock Hill cemetery under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home of Canton.
Mrs. Carver died Monday in a Tyler hospital after a lengthy illness.
She was born march 14, 1903 in Henderson county. She was a member of First Baptist church of Chandler and was a housewife.
Survivors include her husband Charlie Code Carver of Chandler; one nephew Wilmer Dean Craig of Port Arthur and two nieces, Charlsie Bullard of Fort Worth and Eva Jo Horton of Arlington.
Pallbearers were Lyndon Carver, Hugh Carver, Cotton Carver, Randy Horton, Paul Carver, Macon Carver, Carie Loving and Tracy Bullard.
