Bethel Acres resident Lorene Goodnight 87, went to be with the Lord Monday afternoon, July 7, 2008, surrounded by her family. She was born March 14, 1921, in Econtuskee, Oklahoma to Tandy Quin and Nannie Pool. She married Everett Goodnight June 26, 1936 in Earlsboro Oklahoma.
She was a nurses aide at Mission Hill. She was a memeber of TOPS# 263.She enjoyed sewing, quilting, spending time with her kids and family.
She was proceded in death by her husband, Everett;sons, Jim and Bill;foster daughter, Oramae Ledford;sister, Dora Boatman; and brothers John and Ira Quinn.
Survivors include children, Leon Gene and Glenda; 19 granchildren, numerous great grandchildren, great-great granchildren, as well as other loving family members and friends. Service will be 2 p.m. today at Johnson Church of God with Pastor Charles Higgins and Charle Sutton officiating. Burial will be at Johnson Cemetery.
