MRS. ARTHUR STAHL
Mrs. Myrtle Inez, 70, of 701 Union, died at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at Gobel's Nursing home after a 10-year illness.
Born April 5, 1887, in Lafayette, Ill., she was the daughter of Charles A. and Clara (Elzroth) Snyder. She was married to Arthur Max Stahl in LaHarpe, Kan., Dec. 24, 1906. He preceded her in death.
She lived here for four years, coming from Dyer, and was a member of the Methodist church.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Claire F. LaRue of 1306 Franklin, Mrs. Helen Nichols of Lawndale, Calif., Mrs. Ruth Hartmeister of Golden, Co., and Mrs. Lucile Moore of Nashville, Tenn.; a son, C. Fred Stahl of Plainfield, Ill.; a brother, Fred E. Snyder of 463 Ridgeland; 17 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Bartholomew Funeral home. The Rev. C. M. Smith, First Methodist church, will officiate, and burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 p.m. Tuesday until services.
