Louise Baker Byers, wife of Russell Warren Byers; Children: Russell Byers, Jr., Linda Byers and Kay Byers Phillips (husband Brad). Five grandchildren: Stephanie Byers, Kevin Byers, Eric Byers, James Phillips and David Phillips. Great-grandchild at time of death: Hailey Phillips. Preceded in death by 8 brothers: Cecil Baker, Virgil Baker, Rollin Baker, Harry Baker, Lee Baker, Owen Baker, Charles Baker and Samuel Brown and by 3 sisters: Margaret Baker Diehl, Lillian Baker Meyerhoeffer, and Hope Baker Diaz. Louise Byers was the loving wife of my first cousin, Russell Byers. She was a homemaker and had also driven a bus (bookmobile, I think) for some years at an earlier time in her life. I'm not sure what else she may have done, but she was a wonderful wife, homemaker and mother, who had an outgoing and friendly personality. She and Russell worked hard in their congregation near Mt. Crawford (Methodist church there).
