Mrs. Charles W. Palmer

Anna Stanton Palmer, wife of Charles W. Palmer, died suddenly yesterday at her home in Westtown. She and her husband had lived in the vicinity of Westtown since they were married 48 years ago.

Mrs. Palmer was born at Tacoma, Ohio. She was a sister of the late E. Dean Stanton, of Westtown, a former county commissioner of Chester county.

Mrs. Palmer was active for many years in the Cheyney and Middletown needlework guilds.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Palmer is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Charles B. Stratton, of Glen Moore and Mrs. William Balderson, of Whitford. Six grandchildren also survive.

Two brothers, Joseph E. Stanton and William Macy Stanton, of Wesstown and a sister, Mrs. S. Howard Pennell, of Lansdowne, also survive.

Mrs. Palmer was a life member of the Society of Friends and a member of the Middletown Meeting at Lima, Delaware County.
