Eileen German died 5:07am, Wednesday, November 5, 1997 at the home of her daughter, Dana, in Yorkville, IL.
She was born October 14, 1902 in Bradford, Illinois to Loman H. and Lilias A. (Hatch) Eldridge.
She married William Aaron German in 1925, he passed away June 7, 1983.
Also preceeding her in death was one daughter, Meida Fredrickson; one son, Robert A. German; two brothers and one sister.
She attended Monmouth College 1920-1921 and University of Illinois 1921-1923. She excelled in basketball and tennis.
She taught school in Toulon and Monmouth areas. She was a visiting sitter in Galesburg area. Also the head cook at Lombard Jr. High for 15yrs.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Services for Eileen German were held 10am Nov. 7, 1997 at Hinchcliff-Pearson-West Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Snider officiating with burial in East Linwood Cemetery.
