He was born on May 3, 1927 in Center, Oklahoma to George Andy and Ethel (Chaplin) Dame. Troy married Betty L. (Jones) Dame, she preceded him in death on March 16, 2007.
He retired from Law Enforcement where he was the Chief of Police for many years for the City of Konawa. He also for worked for Pontotoc and Seminole County for many years. He was also a truck driver and served in the US Air Force.
Two sons survive him: Troy D. Dame of Seminole, Oklahoma and Michael Anderson of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Six grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Ethel Dame, wife, Betty L. Dame, and numerous brothers and sisters.
He will be laid to rest in Center Cemetery in Center, Oklahoma. Private family services are scheduled. Private Family Services Center Cemetery Center, Oklahoma. Burial at Center Cemetery
