Obituary (Katie Katzenmeyer Ahlswede)
Mrs. Alswede, died at her home in the town of Brussels last Thursday evening. Deceased was about 24 years of age. She leaves a husband and four young children, two sons and two daughters to mourn her death. The funeral took place from one of the churches in Brussels town on Sunday afternoon, at 2 o'clock, and was largely attended.
Katie married George Ahlswede in Manitowoc County, Wisconsin, on February 28th, 1886. She was the daughter of Lorenz and Katherina Caroline Jost Katzenmeyer.
