From Nelson's History of Erie County ... History of her parents Joseph Skinner and Julia Davis Skinner.

"He was married to Julia Davis also a native of RI, to them were born 11 children: Charles [deceased], Mary Ann, wife of Philo Stevens, Columbus, Morris, resident of KS, Oliver D., Olive D., JULIETTE, WIFE OF SOLON WILCOX, Honor, Mrs. Philo Wright [deceased] Catherine, wife of Newton Wright, Chautauqua Cty, NY, Alanson, deceased, Alice, deceased, and Marion, deceased. Joseph Skinner died in Corry in 1849 and his wife in 1880. [Julia]s death date error].

This gentleman was the first permanent settler of the city of Corry."

"Columbus - Mrs. Solon D. Wilcox died Friday May 18, after a long illness. Funeral at the house Sunday, burial in Pine Grove Cemtery, Corry. She leaves a husband and three sons to mourn her loss, a daugther died three years ago. This is the third death of old residents within two weeks. Mrs. William Cady and Mrs. Chauncey Rickerson being the others"

Believe Corry Journal is correct on death date as Thursday May 17th.
