Mrs. Boynton was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Register, longtime residents of the Hot Wells community near Boyce. She was born near Lufkin, Texas. March 15, 1932. Her parents moved to Louisiana when she was a very little girl. After her marriage to Mr. Boynton, she made her home at Lufkin, until the time of her death.
She is survived by her husband: one daughter, Nelle; a son, Robert; her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Register of Boyce; two sisters, Mrs. B. D. Hawkins, Woodville, Texas; and Mrs. S. D. Shackleford, Pineville; and four grandchildren. Interment was at the family cemetery near Lufkin, Texas.
