Alice C. Cain, 91, Axtell, died Monday, June 9, 2008, at Cambridge Place, Marysville.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 12, at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Axtell. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery.
Alice Cain was born Feb. 20, 1917, at St. Bridget, the daughter of John and Mary McQuaid Scmidt.
She married Albert Cain at St. Bridget Catholic Church June 4, 1936. He died Oct. 2, 1998.
She was a member of St. Michael's Church and the women's guild.
Survivors include four sons, Kenneth, Axtell, Galen, Carbondale, Colo., Ronald, Overland Park, and Gary, Port Hueneme, Calif.; three daughters, Barbara Campbell and Barbara Ford, both of Axtell, and Bernita Engelken, Bucyrus; 29 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; nine stepgrandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; and three great-stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Roland; grandson, Kenneth Lee; great-grandson, Dylan Bivins; and brother, Paul Schmidt.
