He was a businessman starting his career in 1946 in Tobias, NE owning Louis Endorf Oil Co. He and Evelyn purchased an apartment building in Lincoln, NE called the "Ponce-de-leon" from 1962 – 1974. In 1968 he purchased the East Hill Motel in Seward, NE. He later bought the Hi-Plains Motel and restaurant in Leoti, KS in 1981. Louis also owned the Wayfarer Motel and Rosewood Ville Motel in Hebron, NE from 1985/2001. Survived by a son and his wife, Bruce and Rhonda Endorf of Leoti, KS; daughter, Barbara Endorf of Leoti, KS; sisters, Elva Steinbrook and Olga Orth both of Fairbury, NE and Irene Wolken of Diller, NE; grandchildren, Mike and Alexis Scribner, Mitchell Endorf and Tyler Endorf; Louis is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Evelyn; brothers, Henry, Fred and John Endorf; sisters, Alma Harmson, Nora Howe and Marie Peters.
