Edwin Carne Has Joined the Majority
Tuolumne May 9 - Edwin Carne died yesterday morning at 1 o'clock, at his home below Tuolumne, from the infirmities of age. He was born in England in 1834 and was well known in Soulsbyville, where he once lived, as well as in Tuolumne. Mrs Carne is survived by a wife, three sons and one daughter - John Carnes of San Francisco, Thomas Carnes of Sonora, Shelby Carnes of Tuolumne and Mrs A E Elseree of Sonora. The funeral will take place tomorrow at Sonora, internment to be made in the Odd Fellows cemetery.
