Lois (Kellie) Munsil Peterson, long-time resident of Yarnell, Congress and later, Wickenburg, passed away on August 12 in Phoenix. She had celebrated her 88th birthday on July 3, but had been in failing health for several years.
Before moving to Phoenix she had been active in community affairs in this area. She was born in NE and came to AZ in 1927. Surviving her are sons Lee E. Munsil of Yarnell, and Willett and Donald Munsil of Phoenix; 18 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren. Another son Lloyd Munsil is deceased.
Graveside services, conducted by the Rev. Laura-Grace Eisenhower, sister of Mrs. Lee Munsil, were held at Memory Lawn Cemetery in Phoenix on Saturday, Aug 15 at 8 a.m.
