GREENE, MARIE O'STEEN, 85, of Eustis, passed away at her home on Sunday, July 27, 2008. She was born in Pearson, GA, on December 6, 1922, to John Riley and Lou Annie Woodard O'Steen. Mrs. Greene was a homemaker and moved to Eustis in 1943 from Maitland. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Eustis and had formerly belonged to the Anna Miller Circle and the Eustis Women's Club. She is survived by her son, Dedrick B. Greene Jr. of Sorrento; daughter, Diane G. (Bruce) Williams of Eustis; sisters; Mildred McDougal of Washington, NC, and Thelma Strong of Altamonte Springs; granddaughter, Shannon Thornburg of Batavia, IL; step grandchildren; Ann Thornburg of Eustis, Robert Williams of Madison, WI, and Jessica
Williams of Rewey, WI; and her son-in-law, Edward Thornburg of Eustis. Mrs. Greene was predeceased by her husband, Dedrick B. Greene, Sr. in 2001 and her grandson, Alex Greene in 1995; she was also predeceased by two sisters and one brother. Funeral services will be held in the Hamlin & Hilbish Chapel at 10 AM Thursday with Rev. Richard Lee Strong officiating, interment will follow in Lakeside Memory Gardens, Eustis.
