Clara Thomason, 80, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Thursday, July 10, 2008, at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Mrs. Thomason, daughter of the late George and Katherine Fisher Hicks, was born November 24, 1927, in Hayti, Missouri. She was a real estate broker and a member of the Eastern Star.
On July 19, 1965, she was married to R. C. Thomason at Poplar Bluff. He preceded her in death on July 28, 1984.
Surviving are one son, Nick Hatch and his wife, Sharon, of Doniphan; four grandchildren, Chris Hatch of St. Louis, Missouri, Amanda Dunn of Fort Smith, Arkansas, and Mark Counts and Summer Pratt, both of Jonesboro, Arkansas.
Visitation will be Friday evening, July 11, 2008, from 5 – 8 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will be Saturday afternoon, July 12, 2008, at 3:00 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Larry Ring officiating. Burial will be in the Springhill Cemetery.
