Mrs Janet (Findley) Patton died at her home in Arlington on July 27th 1905 after a lingering illness. Deceased was born at New Milns, Scotland in 1820 and came to this country in 1842. She leaves to mourn their loss, five sons and four daughters. Three of the daughters are married, Mrs. Robert Robertson, Mrs. John Eagen and Mrs. John Haley. Miss Ellen and George have remained at home and kindly ministered to their mother in her declining years. Although of a retiring disposition she had many friends and a large funeral conducted in a quiet way by Rev. J. B. Galloway, at her own request.
