David Yi was born "Ung Su Yi" in South Korea on January 20, 1926. After coming to the United States and becoming a U.S. citizen, he took on the American name of "David."
He is survived by his wife, Rose (his wife's American name); 2 sons and one daughter; and one grandson.
**I thought David Yi was interred at Oak Hill Memorial Park in San Jose, CA, but when the photo volunteer went to take a picture of his gravestone, she couldn't find it. She ask the office and they said he wasn't interred there. If anyone reading this knows anything about where he is interred, please let me know.
