FORT WORTH - David Berstein, 81, a retired investments worker, died Saturday, June 14, 1997, at All Saints Episcopal Hospital.
Funeral: 3 p.m. Monday at Robertson Mueller Harper Funeral Directors, Rabbi Sidney Zimelman and Cantor Elliot Rosenbaum will officiate. Burial: Ahavath Sholom Cemetery.
Bearers of the casket: David Balunda, Eddie Deems, Emile Denke, Andrew Dubinsky, Kenneth Goldberg, Neil Goldberg, Jack Howard and Spencer Watts. Honorary bearers: Bob Goldberg, Ben Luskey, Max Pila and Carl Williams.

David Bernstein was born Sept. 3, 1915, in Fort Worth. He was a native and resident of Fort Worth. He was preceded in death by his son, his parents, Sam and Sarah, and his brothers, Louis and Phillip.
He was a decorated veteran after serving in the Navy during World War II. David was a member of Congregation Ahavath Sholom and the Lions Club.
Survivors: Sisters-in-law, Ruth Bernstein of Fort Worth, Rhoda Bernstein of Waco; beloved friend, Esther Rothrock of Fort Worth; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
